Connecting Peru & New Zealand,
one dish at a time.

Why MyCultura Peru

Food as a bridge to cultura and community.

From Lima to Christchurch, a new journey began. No family, no friends. Welcome by a family that took me in as one of their own from day one, but still feeling alone. I started cooking out of nostalgia, a bridge back to my Peruvian culture, and a way to build a new community. Every dish I share carries a story, cooked with the techniques I grew up watching. Wherever you find me, a market stall, my kitchen or through screens, I'll take you home, my home.

Our Story

Born in Lima, cooking in Aotearoa.

MyCultura Peru began with a homesick kitchen and a pot of ají amarillo. What started as Sunday lunches for friends in Auckland has grown into a catering kitchen that brings authentic Peruvian cooking to Kiwi celebrations.

We source seafood and produce locally, then cook it the way our families taught us — generous, colourful and made to be shared.
